“I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal, but I continue trying to reach it and to make it mine. Christ wants me to do that, which is the reason He made me His. Brothers and sisters, I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead. I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.” Philippians 3:12-14
Each day we have a choice. We can choose to walk towards the goal and the prize, set before us by Christ Jesus, or we can choose to dwell on the past, sit in our pain, and allow the hurts of our life to overtake us. Here at Mercy Multiplied we are choosing freedom.
Choosing freedom is all about recognizing that your life is an ongoing journey, a process. We do not arrive at freedom, rather we equip ourselves with tools, choose to implement them into our lives, make hard sacrifices and decisions when faced with adversity, and lean into the beauty of God’s grace when we miss the mark.
We’re excited for this to be a space of encouragement and equipping for anyone who is on a journey with the Lord. We will be bringing vulnerable stories of transformation and the daily choices that follow. Our Mercy staff will share wisdom and encouragement from their own lives and the lives of our residents. We will share recipes, work out routines, encouraging verses, challenges, and practical tools! Above all else we hope to provide resources designed to help everyone walk in daily freedom, joy, passion, and purpose. Life is full of struggle, pain, trauma and confusion, but our choices today determine the freedom and destiny we’ll walk in tomorrow!
Will you come along with us as we explore the journey of choosing freedom?
Awesome! Freedom is most definitely a choice. I’m living proof of that.
