Go Back to Lives Transformed

Bebe – 2017 Graduate

Bebe | Mercy MultipliedI was born and raised in Haiti in an orphanage. For 12 years while I was there, I experienced a lot of trauma and physical abuse. I was adopted after the earthquake hit Haiti and had a new home and family. Everything was good with my new family for a couple years, then I started acting out. I thought the life I was living was too good to be true, so I acted out, thinking my parents would get rid of me. While I was acting out, I struggled with self-harm. I attempted suicide and ended up in the hospital. Eventually, I left home on my own and fell in with the wrong crowd. I became even more depressed and suicidal.

I learned about Mercy Multiplied from my dad. I decided to apply because I really needed help.

When I first entered Mercy, I was still misbehaving. But, during a time of worship, God told me He’s never going to let me down, and I decided to stay and put effort into the process.

While at Mercy, I worked through the hurts in my life that had happened when I was younger. I accepted love from family and friends and let God in on my problems, since He already knows them.

After Mercy, I plan to participate in the World Race and join the Army.

Mercy donors, thank you so much for your support. I would like you to know your generous support changed my life, and now I want to live life and live it to the fullest.
