Are You Concerned You May be Pregnant?
The only way to confirm if you are pregnant is through a pregnancy test. You can get tested by your health care provider or at a local health clinic, or you can buy a home pregnancy test.
Expectant Mothers
You do not have to face this situation alone. Our program allows you the necessary time to decide if you want to parent your baby or place your baby for adoption.
At Mercy, we work with each expectant mother to help her reach the best decision for her situation. Our staff walk each expectant mother through a Basic Decision Making process exploring both options of parenting or placing for adoption. The decision is up to the expectant mother. Our staff is dedicated to providing as many resources as possible to help each young woman make a decision that she can be at peace about for many years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! In addition to receiving weekly counseling sessions and group counseling, young women who enter Mercy with an unplanned pregnancy will complete six weeks of Basic Decision Making classes. This additional class includes biblical counsel and practical information on the options to parent or place your child for adoption. Our staff provides support to each expectant mother as she makes the final decision regarding parenting or placing her child for adoption.
All expectant mothers enter our Nashville, Tennessee home. This home allows for both minors and adults who are pregnant and is also in the same location as our Licensed Adoptions Department should an expectant mother decide to make an adoption plan for her child.
- A safe, supportive, free-of-charge residential home for an expectant mother to reside during her pregnancy
- Accessibility to ongoing support from staff/counselors

- 6 weeks of Basic Decision Making Classes

- Transportation to Prenatal care visits
