Each year, Thanksgiving is celebrated in all of our homes across the United States. Residents help prepare a special Thanksgiving meal and share what they are thankful for. For some residents, this is the first time they have experienced the holidays in a safe and loving environment, while others are celebrating away from their families for the first time. Whatever situation a young woman is facing, the goal of the Mercy staff is to create special memories for every resident.
Not only do we want our residents to have a special Thanksgiving, we also want them to feel at home during the Christmas season by making the homes feel festive. Staff, residents, and volunteers work together to put up Christmas trees, hang lights, garland, and ornaments. During this time the homes are bustling with Christmas music, joy, and laughter. We’ve shared just a few pictures from all of our homes as they celebrated Thanksgiving and decorated for Christmas.
We are so thankful for all our donors and volunteers who give to Mercy, so residents have a chance to learn about the love of Jesus in a safe environment. We hope that this holiday season is full of love, laughter, and joy for you and your family.

Our Nashville home had some special volunteers come by and help decorate the home for the Christmas season. This group of volunteers has been helping decorate the home for the past 9 years spreading Christmas joy!
