Before Giving Tuesday was upon us, God had already started moving in the hearts of Mercy supporters to give generously. Due to early promotion of the day through email communication, Mercy had already reached its initial goal by the time Giving Tuesday had arrived, raising nearly $40,000! Then God really started to show off! The Development and Marketing team regrouped and adjusted their strategy for the day. As the Development team began reaching out to donors for additional matching funds, the donations continued to pour in. Within hours of receiving a match, Mercy had already reached its next goal. It was absolutely amazing to watch God moving and exceeding expectations! The initial matching amount for the day was $15,000 and by the end of the day, there was $157,000 in matching funds!

Not only were people generous with their finances, but so many people stepped up to share about Mercy and the work that is being done to help people find freedom and healing in Christ. We had several social media influencers sharing about Mercy, including Francesca Battistelli, Ellie Holcomb, and Nicole C Mullen, to name a few.

Ellie Holcomb shared, “I love Mercy Multiplied because whenever I am around this beautiful ministry for young women, I get to hear stories of how God is using this ministry to absolutely transform young women’s lives.”

31 Chapters, family owned in Northern California, is a new kind of home + decor brand with a belief that your beautiful home should live with you through all of life’s chapters, announced they would be donating 100% of the proceeds from their sales on December 1st to Mercy. They also teamed up with fashion and style influencers to spread the word about Mercy Multiplied, sharing about the ministry with over 100,000 additional people.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our donors, we raised $373,246 on Giving Tuesday!!  This amount includes the $157,000 in matching donor funds.

We are so thankful for every person who donated, created Facebook Fundraisers, and shared our posts throughout the day. More than anything, we are grateful to God for His provision! With year end events being cancelled and with people hurting financially, we are so thankful for those of you who were able to give and stand in the gap for those who could not. Your generosity is a huge blessing to Mercy and all the hurting women in our residential and outpatient program. If you weren’t able to give on Giving Tuesday and would like to do so, there is still time. Please click here to give your gift.

A special thank you to the Debra Massie Team- Lyon Real Estate, Star Fleet Filtration, Inc., and our anonymous donors who gave so generously towards our donor match fund. You are greatly appreciated.
