Every day at Mercy Multiplied, we make the decision to say “yes” to helping young women get the help and healing they need. That is an easy decision and thankfully we are considered essential services and have been able to continue to provide care through the pandemic.

However, we did have to make a difficult decision to cancel our end of year events. This decision was hard because we enjoy gathering and celebrating all the miracles God has done in the lives of the women we serve. It is also so hard because we count on our supporters and those who attend our year end events to give. Last year’s combined events raised over half a million dollars for the ministry.

We recognize the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of us, our own families as well as the families of those we serve. It is affecting finances, relationships, jobs, schools, and the emotional and physical health of so many.

If you are among those who have the means and feel called to stand in the gap for those who are struggling right now, would you consider making a special donation to help us recoup the lost donations from our canceled events? We know there have been so many people whose jobs and ability to give has diminished, and we are counting on those who are able to step in for those who cannot.

While this year will look different, it has also given us the opportunity to look for different ways for more people to share about Mercy and the transformation that happens in the lives of our residents through the power of Christ. Previously these events have been limited to the cities where we have residential homes, but this year, you can help spread hope and impact the lives of hurting young women from the comfort of your own home.

If you are interested in hosting a “mini-event” in your home with your friends and family or at your church please contact Rachel Bedenbaugh at rbedenbaugh@mercymultiplied.com or if you would like to make a donation to help us recover from the cancellation of our year-end events, please click here.

Mercy does not accept any government funding or money with strings attached that would limit us in sharing the hope of Jesus Christ because true healing comes from Him. We rely on the generosity of our donors and supporters. Will you help us raise the much-needed funds to continue the life-saving work in our homes?
