2019 Mercy Multiplied graduate Adia

Adia

“I found out about Mercy through an online chat with a graduate. I decided to apply because I knew my life would be very short, and the end would be a dark one if I didn’t seek out help. While at Mercy, Jesus picked up my broken, shattered life and set my feet firm on the ground. I live in His lighthouse, where I am loved, challenged, protected, and adored!”

“God has completely transformed my life during my time at Mercy! I learned who God says I am. I know that I am a daughter of God, and He has always been with me. Even in the darkest moments of my life, He never left my side. I know I have been completely forgiven, and I know that I am loved unconditionally by God! Nothing I have ever done or will ever do can change God’s love for me. God showed me that He has completely redeemed me from my past, and He has amazing plans for my future.”

“My mom told me about Mercy. I decided to apply because I couldn’t keep living the way I was living if I really wanted to live. I wanted to change. I wanted a new life. I was scared when I first arrived at Mercy. I don’t know what I expected to get out of being here, but right away I felt at home. A major turning point for me was when I surrendered my false beliefs about God. I gave up trying to understand who He is and let Him show me and love me.”

2019 Mercy Multiplied graduate Rebekah

Rebekah

“During my time at Mercy, God showed me that I’ve been chosen and adopted into His family. I was never responsible for meeting my own needs. God showed me I am valuable, and I am worthy of love, stability, and security.  I am an imperfect person, but I follow the perfect One. In Him, there is always grace for my weaknesses. God taught me to trust, and He taught me that I can connect authentically with Him, others, and myself.”
