As a pastor’s kid, Taylor grew up in the church and loved her childhood. In high school, she found out that her Dad had cancer. She was believing and trusting God that her Dad would be a survivor, but shortly before her sixteenth birthday, her Dad passed away. Inside she was angry at God. As a result, Taylor went in a different direction and started to live for herself. She became involved in partying and alcohol and at one point was sexually assaulted. Shortly after graduating high school, she found out she was pregnant. This is when her mom introduced her to Mercy.
Coming into Mercy, Taylor had a lot of walls up and was very guarded. But after some time, she started building a strong foundation in a relationship with Christ. Taylor learned through Mercy who she is in Christ. She is no longer a broken woman filled with shame, guilt, and anger. She is a woman of redemption. She is free.
