Tierra – 2010 Graduate

Before Mercy, depression, self-harm, and an eating disorder took over my life. It was my way of coping with the physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse of my past. Because of the abuse, I hated men and didn’t trust them. I heard about Mercy from some of my friends and decided to give God one last try.

While at Mercy, I learned that God is a protector, restorer, redeemer, friend, and a very present help in times of need. God is good and He loves me and nothing can separate me from His love. I have value and deserve good things.

After graduation, I plan to work to save money so I can attend the International House of Prayer University, Forerunner School of Ministry in August.
