Before Mercy, life was very hard and filled with no hope for the future. I found out about Mercy through a counselor that I was seeing. I knew that I needed help and when I toured Mercy, it felt right. I was very nervous, scared, and wondered if this would really work.
God showed me what areas I needed to surrender to Him. He has taught me I was never a mistake. I have a purpose and He has a specific amazing plan for my future if I allow Him to lead my steps. I have learned to trust and love the heart of God and to see Him as my Father, Friend, and Comfort.
After Mercy I plan to get a job, volunteer at ministries, move into my own apartment, and hopefully marriage and children in the future.
To the donors, thank you very much for allowing me the opportunity to come here and meet Jesus as He really is and not what I was taught to believe about Him. Thank you for your continued support of all of us girls and may God bless you.
