My life before Mercy was filled with darkness and hopelessness.
I found out about Mercy through family members. I chose to apply because I knew I needed help, and Mercy seemed like the best option for me. When I arrived, I was very depressed, shy, and timid.
Shortly after my arrival, God spoke to me during a worship night. This started a relationship with God that I’d never had before.
While at Mercy, God has shown me who He truly is, and who I am in Him. I learned that I am loved and chosen by God and that He will never leave me or give up on me.
After Mercy, I plan to get involved in my church and community and become financially stable.
