Full operations at Mercy’s home for women in Nashville, Tennessee have resumed, and the home is receiving residents. Nancy Alcorn, Founder and President of Mercy Multiplied, announced to staff in late February that the staffing shortages that prohibited the home from serving residents in recent months had been resolved and that residents would begin arriving in early April.

“We are so thrilled to be welcoming new residents to our Nashville home in April!” said Meaghan Briggs, Interim COO at Mercy. “Our staff have been preparing throughout these past few months, and we have done some major renovations to the home. We are so excited to have young women on our campus once again!”
Mercy staff members confirmed their delight that both residential homes are now available for new admissions. Operations at Mercy’s residential facility in Sacramento, California were not affected by the pause in Nashville.

Since 1983, Mercy Multiplied has offered a six-to-nine-month Residential Counseling Program for young women dealing with a wide range of life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, abuse, and unplanned pregnancy. The Residential Counseling Program at Mercy serves women ages 13 to 32 and includes aftercare through Mercy’s Transitional Care department.
Mercy Multiplied operated under the name Mercy Ministries until October 2015, when the name was changed to reflect a commitment to “multiply” Mercy beyond the Residential Counseling Program. Mercy offers outpatient counseling at two Centers for Wellness and Counseling, as well as a 5-day spiritual intensive experience called the Keys to Freedom Retreat. These and other Mercy resources are based on the same biblical, life-transforming principles taught in the Residential Counseling program.
