Before Mercy, life was miserable. I felt lost and hopeless.
I found out about Mercy from a friend whose daughter graduated from Mercy. I knew I needed help getting out of the cycle of depression, eating disorder, alcoholism, suicidal thoughts, and unhealthy behaviors.
When I arrived at Mercy, I was drowning in shame and guilt. I often isolated and condemned myself to death spiritually. When I finally received God’s forgiveness, it was the turning point for my time at Mercy! When I finally believed that I was God’s child, and I was forgiven, I stopped striving and rested in being His daughter!
During my time at Mercy, God has restored my hope, mind, heart, joy, peace, purity, and so much more! Most importantly, I learned my identity. I learned that He is passionately pursuing me and that He has put His Spirit in me and will never leave me nor forsake me!
After Mercy, I plan to go to college and study business and administration.
To the donors, THANK YOU! I am so grateful for you! You believed in me, prayed for me, and invested in me, and you didn’t even need to know me to do it! God has truly set my feet on solid ground and given me new hope. He’s given me joy unspeakable joy! I love you guys so much. Blessings to you all!
