Mercy Multiplied to Promote Mercy and Unity at Mercy in the Community Unity Brunch

August 2, 2016

Nashville, Tenn. – Mercy Multiplied, a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to helping young women break free from life-controlling issues, is hosting a special Mercy in the Community Unity Brunch to promote mercy and unity across diverse communities in Nashville and throughout the nation.

The event, sponsored by Gospel Music Association, Seeds of Greatness Bible Church, and 760 AM The Gospel, will take place Saturday, August 13 at Rocketown in Nashville from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mercy’s Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn, will be a featured speaker, along with special guests Toure’ Roberts and Sarah Jakes-Roberts, Co-Pastors of One Church LA. Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Erica Campbell and DJ Promote are slated to provide soul-stirring entertainment.

“We are excited to have this opportunity to share Mercy with a diverse community. With everything that is going on in the world, we could all use a little unity,” said Adrienne Lindsey, Mercy Community Relations Manager.

For over three decades, Mercy Multiplied, under Alcorn’s leadership, has provided thousands with the biblically based tools to live free, healthy, independent lives and as a result, has generated a transformative movement of hope and healing. The Unity Brunch is meant to be an extension of that hope and a place to come together as the Body of Christ to address destructive issues.

Known for her rubber-meets-the-road approach, Alcorn puts it this way in her most recent book, Ditch the Baggage: “I don’t have a lot of patience for talking about a problem without solving it.”

Krystle, a 2014 Mercy graduate, is one beneficiary of Mercy’s commitment to provide faith-based solutions for life-controlling issues. Through the Mercy residential program, Krystle found healing from the effects of past abuse and sex trafficking. Her inspiring story will be featured during the Unity Brunch.

Amnoni, a 2009 Mercy graduate, will be present to share her incredible story of transformation, from living through years in a broken foster care system, to finding the love of Christ through Mercy, and now working to affect foster care policy reform at the federal level.

Mercy in the Community Unity Brunch early bird tickets are available for $30 until August 5. Thereafter, general admission tickets can be purchased for $40. Click here to register.
