Go Back to Lives Transformed

Lovteisha – 2017 Graduate

Lovteisha | Mercy MultipliedDuring my childhood, life was very confusing for me. I didn’t know who my father was, and my mother was very absent. Beginning at the age of four, I was sexually abused, raped, and exposed to pornography. As depression, fear, and shame fell upon me, I stopped speaking. Due to the circumstances, I had to move into a different home without my mother. In that home began many years of physical, emotional, mental, and sexual abuse. I was hurting so badly, I finally reached out to God.

Before I knew it, I heard about Mercy Multiplied and applied. When I entered Mercy, I was a mess and didn’t want to talk to anyone because I didn’t trust anyone.

A turning point for me while at Mercy was when I started talking and going through the hard conversations in counseling. When the enemy began attacking me, I knew something was up. That’s when it hit me, the enemy doesn’t want me to change.

While at Mercy, I learned that God has gifted me with spiritual gifts. He redeemed and restored situations for me. God has been so tangible during my walk at Mercy; He’s been with me every step of the way. I love Him so much for giving me multiple chances and loving me through every single situation.

After I graduate from Mercy, God has planned for me to work in ministry. I plan to do missionary work for six months.

Mercy supporters, I’m beyond grateful that you have the heart to listen to God and obey. Your giving makes the transformations that happens at Mercy possible. It is such a blessing; it saved my life. I’m in awe, and I thank you for your humbled hearts and obedience.
