Hannah – 2017 Graduate
When I was younger, I was sexually abused. In school, I was bullied. Since I was eight years old, I started trying to take my life. When I was 16, I was drugged and raped by a close friend. When I was 20, I got married. I was forced into a life of sex trafficking.
I found out about Mercy Multiplied through my therapist. I applied because I kept trying to fix myself and kept failing. When I first arrived, I was angry and hated everyone.
A turning point for me in my journey at Mercy was when I found out I wasn’t bad. I learned that I am priceless and very loved. God is good and didn’t want all those bad things to happen to me.
God has restored my relationship with my mother and my relationship with Him. God is always good and He never left me alone, even in my darkest hour.
After Mercy, I plan to go to college. I want to make faith-based films and music.
If I could write a thank you to Mercy supporters, I could never thank them enough. I never thought I was worth helping, but now I feel like I am. If I were to say thank you every moment of every day it still wouldn’t be enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
