Before coming to Mercy, I struggled with depression, abuse, and anxiety. My life was bad. I was walking in sin and could not see the light. I was in isolation all the time and did not care about what was going on around me. My mom and I were looking for programs where I could get help, so we looked up free places. Mercy was at the top of the list. The turning point for me while I was at Mercy was when I realized that no matter how far I’ve gone wrong, GOD has a plan for my life, and that will not change; neither does his love. God has healed me of my shame, heartbreak, and fear and has helped me break free from the unhealthy patterns. God has set me free from my bondage and has literally given me back my laughter and joy. After graduating from Mercy, I will be applying to a program to do missionary work and enrolling in college. I want to do full-time ministry after I get my degree.

To Mercy donors, thank you so much for your support of Mercy. You have no idea how much you guys help us. I thank you all so much because if we didn’t have people like you, I wouldn’t have found God’s calling on my life or found true freedom. Mercy has changed my life, and every broken relationship in my life is restored.
