First Harvest Boutique + Mercy Multiplied
Kimmie and Matt started First Harvest Boutique in their living room 2 years ago, September of 2016. They took their savings and built a brand from their living room. Matt said worst case scenario, if this doesn’t work out, Kimmie has a new closet to wear. Their initial mission with their online clothing store was to give back and make a difference. Kimmie said she was bored with her routine nine-to-five job, so she decided to make a bold move to start a dream she would soon call a reality. Kimmie’s “new closet” quickly turned into a clothing store.
“We wanted to do something that was more than just a boutique,” said Kimmie. First Harvest Boutique is a clothing store that is based on Proverbs 3:9, “Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the first-fruits of all your produce.” They decided to give the first 10% of their profits to Mercy Multiplied. “We wanted to give back our first 10% to Mercy Multiplied because it’s an amazing organization,” said Kimmie.
They quickly realized that people wanted more products than their living room could hold. So, they opened their first First Harvest Boutique store. After they began printing their trademark “V” on tee’s and hats, people bought them at a high rate. “Every time you wear the “V”, you’re representing your support for those women who have gone through those things,” said Matt. People that purchased these items loved the idea of wearing a logo of what they were believing for; seeing lives transformed through the mission of Mercy. Kimmie said, “It’s giving back, helping lives and changing things.”
We are excited to have First Harvest Boutique as one of our partners. Their mission is inspirational and aids in bringing change to the lives of hurting young women. Their contributions and donations help our mission move forward, to bring hurting girls to experience freedom and transformation. We are thankful and excited to see what the Lord has in store for First Harvest Boutique. If you want to see more about their story, click here.
