I was born into a very dysfunctional family and lifestyle. My birth mom was heavily addicted to drugs and wasn’t able to take care of us. A great family adopted me, but things were still incredibly hard. Having not grown up with stable love, I had anxiety and struggled with depression.
I found out about Mercy at the hospital. I decided to apply because I wanted a difference and needed incredible change in my life. When I first arrived I was very rebellious and uncommitted.
God began to move in my life when I decided to focus on myself and the reasons I applied to Mercy. I had to come to a point and know I was at Mercy for myself. While at Mercy, I learned to love myself first, so that I can love others. I learned life skills and the characteristics of God.
After graduating from Mercy, I’m going to college to get my degree in Recording Engineering. I really want to be a traveling recording engineer for Christian rap artists!
Thank you to all the Mercy donors for your support. You’re the only reason why this program is possible! My life has been changed because of your generosity.
