Before coming to Mercy, I was suicidal, depressed, and struggled with self-harm. I found out about Mercy from my therapist.
The turning point for me was when I was able to break a soul tie with a guy I needed to let go of. God renewed my relationship with my father, and I found God again.
God has restored my relationship with my parents and led me to Him. I’ve learned the importance of patience and the value of my life. I believe God saved me from myself and saved my life for this purpose.
After graduation I plan to go to college and get a full-time job.
To anyone applying to Mercy, never giving up is key. This will test your patience, but this humbling experience will renew your mind and character. The transformation in myself is unbelievable, and I don’t even recognize the old me before Mercy. This is so worth it.
To the donors, thank you so much for all that you do, and I’m sure you hear that quite often, but the truth is, if it weren’t for wonderful people like you sacrificing for us, I would be dead, I really would.
