This week, almost 200 people gathered at The Hub event venue in Monroe, Louisiana, for the fourth annual Worship Experience hosted by Mercy Multiplied. The evening also marked five years since the opening of Mercy’s first Center for Wellness and Counseling. Caronda Williams, Mercy’s Community Relations Manager in Monroe, organized the Worship Experience and said this was the best one yet.
“Anna Elizabeth Buys and her worship team were fantastic. They did an incredible job. She talked about how Jehovah Nissi is our banner and we are celebrating the victory of all God has done at Mercy,” Williams said. “During the song “I Speak Jesus”, a group of worshipers came down the aisles waving banners. It was phenomenal.”
Another highlight of the evening was a panel that answered questions about Mercy’s various ministries. Some representatives on the panel shared about the Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling in Monroe, which has provided free counseling services for 446 clients since opening in September 2020. Others shared about Mercy’s Residential Program for young women, the Keys to Freedom Retreat, and Mercy’s Keys to Freedom discipleship study. Graphics on screens illustrated the impact Mercy Multiplied made in 2025. More than 14,000 people have been served across all aspects of the ministry so far this year.
Jeffery Kent, who serves on Mercy’s Community Board in Monroe, served as emcee for the evening. Holly Shaw, who also serves on the board, delivered the call to action, inviting participants to support the valuable work Mercy Multiplied is doing in their community.
The program concluded with a worship mash-up of “Fear is Not My Future” and “Rattle” accompanied by praise and worship flags and punctuated with confetti cannons. “I love how the Lord gives something new and special to our Worship Experience each year,” Williams said. “There is always an added surprise that gives our audience something to look forward to!”
