Don’t Allow Fear to Keep You from Applying to Mercy Multiplied
Have you ever thought about applying to Mercy Multiplied? Maybe someone you know has been to one of Mercy’s homes. Someone might have mentioned to you to look into our program because they care about you and want you to find help. Do you struggle with self-harm? Have you been sexually abused or assaulted? Maybe you struggle with an eating disorder? Maybe you have symptoms of anxiety or depression? Maybe you have no idea what is wrong with you, but you know there has to be more to life than what you’re living like right now. Whatever the case may be, there is not a scale of being too severe or not severe enough. You matter, and you deserve freedom from whatever is holding you back on a day-to-day basis.
Young women between the ages 13-32 come into Mercy’s residential program facing a wide variety of different issues. We are dedicated to helping young women break free from life-controlling behaviors and situations, including eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. We hope to help every woman we serve experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. No struggle is too small or too big for God.
Some of you may be thinking, What about school? What about taking off of work for that long? I don’t think I can leave my family for that long? Maybe you have tried residential programs before or other programs that should have given you success, but they couldn’t deliver what you needed.
We want to talk to you about why our program is different and why it is worth taking time to invest in yourself. If you are ready for a change, we are here to help you take the first step in making a life changing decision. Other young women who have come into our program and graduated have some words of advice and encouragement for those of you thinking about applying.
Don’t allow fear to hold you back. What do you have to lose? You may be sacrificing time away from family, friends, work, etc. but what you will gain through the ministry of Mercy Multiplied is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I fully recommend taking it. Six months may seem like a major commitment but once it’s done and over with it feels like it went by in the blink of an eye. You deserve to live a life free from guilt, condemnation, and shame. There is complete freedom from addiction, sexual abuse, self-harm, eating disorders, in Christ Jesus. I’m living proof of that. Do it!

You are WORTHY and DESERVING of healing. You are so incredibly valuable, and you SHOULD take the chance on yourself. Taking the steps to attend Mercy will be one of the hardest, but most rewarding times in your life. And don’t compare your struggles to those around you. If you think you might need help, you DO. And just because your struggle seems small compared to X, it doesn’t negate your struggles and need for help.

Do it. It will be the best choice you’ve ever made. Don’t let fear of the unknown stop you or let anyone get in the way of your journey to healing.
