Before coming to Mercy, I was sexually abused. As a result, I struggled with anxiety, self-harm, and depression. A friend told me about the Mercy Multiplied program, and I decided to apply.
A specific turning point during my time at Mercy was when I started to believe that I was a child of God and not a child of Satan. I learned that I need to trust God and that I can’t do it alone. I learned that I can only be the best Amanda I can be and that He has a specific plan for my life.
After Mercy, I plan to attend school and actively serve in my family’s church. I want to thank the Mercy donors for believing in me and for supporting me through the ups and downs. It means so much to me, and I greatly appreciate it.
