I grew up in an orphanage in Ecuador. I experienced physical abuse and also struggled with an eating disorder.
I found out about Mercy through family members.
At Mercy, the biggest turning point for me was when I was confronted by staff for engaging in my eating disorder. God brought redemption from my eating disorder and past hurts. I now know who I am in Christ, and I learned how to trust people and Christ!
After Mercy, I plan on attending Job Corps to learn Office Administration and Culinary Arts.
