Go Back to Lives Transformed

Hannah- 2015 Graduate

Hannah 2015Many of my struggles came from the rejection I experienced growing up. I also endured verbal and physical abuse from some of the people I should have been able to trust.

My dad told me about Mercy, and I knew right away I had to go. I felt such a peace and knew it was the right choice. When I arrived at Mercy, I was very withdrawn but angry at the same time. I was confused about who I was and who God was in my life.

I think one of my biggest turning points while I was at Mercy was at the Winter Jam tour. God showed me that He adopted me and that He is my father.

While at Mercy I learned I am not defined by what I have done and what people have done to me. God has shown me that He will use my past for His glory. I learned that when I can’t be confident in myself, I can definitely believe God for the impossible. I discovered that God loves to talk to me and does not withhold any good thing from me. But my favorite part about our relationship is His gentle and quiet voice and how He calls me beautiful.

After graduating from Mercy I plan to go home and finish high school. I also want to be heavily involved in church.

I would like to say thank you to all the Mercy supporters. I hope that my life is an encouragement to you. I am on the other side of your obedience, thank you!
