Fall festivities brought joy to residents at Mercy’s Sacramento home this season. Pumpkin painting, seasonal flavors, and holiday crafting provided Mercy residents with an unforgettable day of memories.

“I absolutely loved this experience,” said one Sacramento resident. “It was so much fun to take a break from processing difficult things and enjoy each other’s company.”

Volunteers at the Sacramento festival left a real impression on residents there. “I felt so loved that so many people came out and put this on for us,” said one resident. “Each volunteer – every single one I spoke to was so kind,” another resident commented.

The art tables were a big hit with many of the young women who are currently in Mercy’s six-to-nine-month Residential Program. “It was a beautiful time outdoors with so many fun activities! I think each table was so creative and gave us a way to express our creativity,” one young woman said. Another resident added,” It reminded me of the heart of the Lord for us, wanting us to have fun and enjoy life. I had so much fun and am so thankful for this experience.”

Since 1983, Mercy Multiplied has offered residential services to young women struggling with life-controlling issues and situations. The Residential Program at Mercy is free of charge because of generous donors.
