Gracious Father,
Thank You for being a God who sees us fully—body, mind, and spirit. You are not distant from our pain. You are not hurried by our process. You are near to the brokenhearted, close to the crushed in spirit. And in our struggle, You remain steady, good, and kind.
Lord, we confess how quickly we rush to fix others, how often we try to move past grief or avoid the weight of suffering. Teach us to slow down. Help us to listen. Let our presence reflect Your compassion. Let our words be few and our hearts be tender.
For those battling anxiety, depression, trauma, or deep emotional wounds,
we ask that You meet them right where they are.
Bring comfort that runs deeper than words.
Bring peace that surpasses understanding.
Bring healing—in whatever way You choose to give it.
And for those of us who walk alongside them,
give us courage to sit in silence,
wisdom to ask without assuming,
and humility to trust that You are already at work.
You are the God who gives rest to the weary, who comforts with the overwhelmed,
who does not shame us for our limits, but loves us through them.
So today, we rest in You.
We trust You with the process.
And we open our hands to be vessels of mercy,
for Your glory and for the healing of others.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
