I heard about Mercy through a friend who graduated from another home. I wanted a brighter life, but I wasn’t honest all the time. I struggled with depression and anxiety and experienced sexual abuse. My life was dark before coming to Mercy, but during my time there, I learned about forgiveness and God’s love for me. He has made me feel loved and cherished, like every awful thing I’ve been through is for a purpose but wasn’t part of His plan. After graduating, I want to do studies on spiritual warfare and possibly get a degree in theology. I’d like to work somewhere God-centered.
To the Mercy donors, I was a single mom who had stopped caring about living anymore. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all your love and support. My life would not be the same without Mercy, and my son’s life would not be the same without Mercy.
