Go Back to Lives Transformed

Chelsey – 2017 Graduate

Chelsey | 2017 Mercy GraduateI grew up in a broken home and was exposed to addiction and unstable men. I felt neglected, and the only attention I received was negative. I was sexually and physically abused until the age of seven, then I was adopted.

I learned about Mercy Multiplied through my counselor. I decided to apply because I realized I needed to get my life on track with God. When I arrived, I bottled myself up and put on a mask. I was trying to act like everything was okay.

Through my Mercy journey, I was able to remove my mask of “happiness” and open up to my counselors. I have been set free of my shame. I have learned that I have a voice and that I am a child of God. I’ve also learned that I don’t have to please everyone.

After Mercy, I plan to try out for the Olympics. I also plan to get a job and go to college.

Mercy donors, thank you so much. If it wasn’t for you, chances are that I wouldn’t have known about Mercy. I am so thankful for all you have done and given.
