Empower Yourself at MPower Workshop
June 29, 2017
The goal of Mercy Multiplied’s Outreach Department is to equip leaders with tools to help others. Mercy will hold a two-day MPower Workshop to equip helpers in Nashville, TN on July 14-15 and in Rocklin, CA (a suburb of Sacramento) on July 27-28.
The MPower Workshop aims to help concerned family members, caring friends, church leaders, professionals, or anyone with the heart to help, understand more about how to support others while staying healthy and whole in the process.
“We have seen over the past two years that the MPower Workshop really will impact and equip any person, in any walk of life, who simply has a heart to love and minister to people more powerfully and effectively,” said Melanie Wise, Director of Outreach.
Wise, along with Jen Otero, Counselor and Outreach Communications Specialist, and Brooke Keels, Executive Director of Counseling, will be featured MPower presenters, sharing the principles of freedom used in Mercy’s residential homes for over 30 years.
Workshop sessions include, but are not limited to: Helping Hurting People, Healthy Boundaries, Keys to Freedom, and Safeguarding Yourself.
Participants will have the opportunity to purchase additional MPower training manuals in order to take the material back to their own churches, schools, and communities.

This material needs nothing added or changed in order to work in a male context. It’s great material and it is universal. It was such a pleasure to be here and it was so helpful! – Shawne
I feel equipped with information to continue to help others, but most importantly I now feel lifted of the burden of healing and understand that all healing is from Christ! – Richelle
I am leaving the workshop feeling refreshed, encouraged, and ready to take this information to other people. Thank you for sharing your wisdom! – Anna
Thank you for putting these workshops on! Essentially offering up your playbook and allowing others to come and see and hear what you do, how you do it, but more importantly, why you do it, is super cool. It’s the people that make the organization, and Mercy Multiplied’s people are awesome. You did a great job of sharing the heart of Mercy! – Daniel
The information is organized but also Spirit-led. Love your hearts, the unity, covering everything in prayer, the passion in the leaders. For years, I have prayed about learning the [Mercy] model at a deeper level. I’m beyond honored to be part of this! – Sundi Jo
