No matter how discouraged or in despair you may feel, we want you to know that God loves you and that there is always hope.

God’s Word is full of encouragement and perspective for every season of life, so it only makes sense that we turn to Him no matter what we are facing. Below are a few of our favorite scriptures that encourage us in difficult seasons.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 43:5

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Psalm 33:22

Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Romans 5:5

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Psalm 121:1-2

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

If you are in the midst of a season that is full of hardships, we hope that these scriptures encourage you and bring you hope!
