We are always amazed at how the Lord provides for Mercy through our generous donor community! Last week, Dalamar Homes presented Mercy Multiplied with a $10,000 donation from the proceeds of their very first “Hope House”!

Dayla and Matthew Martin are a mother and son duo who together own and operate Dalamar Homes, a custom home builder in the greater Nashville area. Dayla Martin founded Dalamar Homes in 2006 with the desire to share their customer’s dreams, understand and define them in detail, and deliver a home that meets those dreams with a careful blend of dreams tied to budget. Her son, Matthew Martin, joined as her business partner as Dalamar Homes continued to grow.

Dayla began supporting Mercy in 2010. Since then, she has become a monthly partner and has sponsored many events. After attending Nashville Merry Mercy in 2017, Dayla and Matthew’s heart and desire to bless Mercy continued to grow. In every quarter of 2018, they brought a group of volunteers to work on many projects at the Nashville home. But what started as a quarterly volunteer day for Dalamar Homes resulted in the urge to do even more. This led to the initial idea of building a home for the charities that promise a message of hope that is honored and cherished in Dalamar’s daily practices. Through months of planning and logistics, Hope House emerged with the plan to build a home where all proceeds from the sale of the house are donated.

In 2019, Dalamar Homes officially hosted the “Bless This House” event to bless and pray over the studs of its first “Hope House.” Mercy Multiplied’s Nashville residents and many staff attended the ceremony and were able to pray over the home. It was such a special day, and everyone was so excited to see what blessings would come from the Hope House!

Lauren Hobar, Mercy’s National Director of Philanthropy says about the Dalamar Homes team:

“Dayla, Matthew, and the entire Dalamar team’s incredible commitment to generosity and service is making a way for young women at Mercy Multiplied to find healing, freedom, and hope for their futures. We could not be more grateful!”

Now, almost two years later, the original Hope House has been built and sold. Dalamar Homes hosted a second groundbreaking event in which Mercy Multiplied was presented with a check for the proceeds from the first Hope House. This groundbreaking also represents the beginning of a Hope House number two! The Dalamar Homes team, Mercy Multiplied, The Fish Radio, and Williamson County Chamber of Commerce all gathered together to celebrate this big day.

We are so very thankful for Dayla Martin, Matthew Martin, and the entire Dalamar Homes team! The Hope Houses will forever hold special meaning within their walls and will stand as a symbol of hope in the community. Thank you for blessing Mercy in so many ways!
