On May 5th, the Nashville Mercy residents and staff headed to Clarksville, Tennessee, to attend the Flourish Women’s Conference held at LifePoint Church. The Flourish Conference hosted over 700 women for a weekend of powerful worship and inspiring teaching. The encouraging theme of the weekend was “Live Loved.”

Kelli Ferguson, pastor and conference host, spoke about the power of discovering oneself in Christ. Guest speaker Dino Rizzo, Executive Director of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), and his wife, DeLynn, shared an encouraging message and reminded the women, “God loves you. God is with you. God is for you.”

DeLynn encouraged the women, “Let’s forgive, trust Him, be satisfied, and be connected. Be an unstoppable woman!”

The Flourish Conference also had guest speaker and Mercy graduate, Nicky, share her story of transformation. Nicky’s vulnerable message received a standing ovation from the audience. Learn more on Nicky’s story here.

Natalie Grant, six-time Grammy nominated recording artist and one of the top-selling Christian artists in the country, performed Friday night. The Mercy residents were the first women to stand and worship during Natalie’s song, Clean. Several members of the church shared they were personally moved to tears to witness the residents in worship.

Aside from the time of worship and teaching, the Flourish Conference offered prayer cards for women to fill out if they needed prayer. Additionally, they provided breakfast, cupcakes, and resource bags for the attendees. Mercy Multiplied also offered resources to those in attendance, presenting the keys to freedom taught in Mercy’s residential program in book and study formats.

Deana McBerry, member of both Mercy Multiplied staff and LifePoint Church, said, “I felt incredibly proud. Both LifePoint Church Clarksville and Mercy Multiplied do things in love and in excellence, so to be a part of both organizations is extremely humbling.”

Mercy Multiplied is grateful to LifePoint Church for including our residents in this powerful conference and sharing Mercy with those in attendance. Visit “Support Us” to learn how you and your church can join in Mercy’s work and mission.
