Mercy Multiplied announced today that special guests Ellie Holcomb and Miss Kay Robertson will be a part of its upcoming Freedom Experience held in West Monroe, La. at Christ Church, March 11-12, 2016. Dove Award winner Holcomb will be the featured praise and worship leader for the two-day event. Duck Dynasty’s Robertson will co-host the VIP luncheon along with Mercy Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn.

Alcorn and her Mercy team first introduced The Freedom Experience last fall in Nashville, Tenn., home of Mercy’s corporate headquarters. The conference is a part of Mercy’s larger outreach initiative and meant to be both a practical and powerful resource to individuals or organizations seeking to learn the life-transforming principles taught for over 30 years within Mercy’s homes.

In 1983, Alcorn started the first Mercy home in Monroe, La. with just $1000 in her pocket. “I thought it would be one home that I would run the rest of my life, but I had no idea what God had in store,” said Alcorn. Three decades later, Mercy has seen thousands of lives changed and extensive growth, including the addition of homes in Nashville, Tenn.; St. Louis, Mo.; Sacramento, Calif.; United Kingdom; Canada; and New Zealand.

Last year, Mercy launched new outreach programs to equip and empower all people with the keys to lasting freedom. “At Mercy, we’ve found that God’s truth applies not only to the extreme situations we’ve seen inside our Mercy homes, but also to the everyday struggles that we all face,” said Mercy Director of Outreach, Melanie Wise. “We want everyone to experience true and lasting freedom, so we’re thrilled to be able to share these biblically based tools with people outside the walls of our homes.”

At the West Monroe Freedom Experience, Alcorn will give the opening keynote address during the Friday evening session. On Saturday, several of Mercy’s seasoned counselors and leaders will join Alcorn to further present the seven keys to lasting freedom that have helped thousands redefine their lives. The keys include: committing fully to Christ; choosing to forgive; renewing your mind; breaking generational patterns; healing life’s hurts; conquering oppression; and learning principles of lifelong success.

Early bird registration ends February 15. VIP registration includes a signed copy of Alcorn’s new book Ditch the Baggage, preferred seating, and a private luncheon with co-hosts Alcorn and Robertson.
