Before I came to Mercy, my life was unsafe and felt painful. I struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as self-harm stemming from abuse I had previously suffered. I felt that my life was completely destroyed and that I had no purpose.

I found out about Mercy from a friend and decided to apply. I thought it was a good opportunity to finally find freedom and have a relationship with God, even though I didn’t know much about Him.

Through my time at Mercy, I found my identity in Christ! God has taught me that I am never alone and that I am His masterpiece. I now know that I am loved by Him and free from my past!

After graduation, I plan to do bible studies with friends and family, as well as go to college and to study to be a Spanish teacher.

Mercy donors, I am so grateful for your generosity. Your donations have supported me and so many other girls during our time at Mercy. Thank you!
