Go Back to Lives Transformed

Jillian – 2014 Graduate

JillWhen I was young, my parents divorced. I was molested and nearly raped by the time I was 10 years old. I encountered alcoholism, drug addiction, mental illness and abuse within my family. When I was 14, I got into occult activity and also started “sexting.”

A family friend suggested Mercy to me after I saw the name in a list of recommended programs after a psychiatric evaluation. The biggest things that made the difference for me at Mercy were all of the counseling sessions and when I accepted Christ as my Savior. Jesus never gave up on me, and welcomed me with open arms even with so much junk in my past. Now I see that I am a new creation in Him!

After I graduate from Mercy, I will head back home to finish high school. I will probably join the Navy and then go to college. I look forward to being married and having kids one day.

I am so full of love and thankfulness for everything Mercy has done for me. I feel so much better about myself and about my future.
