Before Mercy, I struggled with many life-controlling issues and addictions. I never had a true purpose to live and felt sad and depressed. I found out about Mercy from my pastor. I couldn’t keep living in my guilt and shame. I was angry and just here to be here.
A turning point for me was when I received God’s love and when I was baptized. Every day I slowly grew into Him. He’s set me free from all guilt, shame, and oppression. I am free from bondage and I can trust in His promises.
After Mercy, I plan to pursue the Lord while attending college to get my BS in psychology and counseling along with my minister/pastoral license. I hope to work an internship with an organization that helps teen women or open a place similar to Mercy. I hope to travel and preach the Word of God wherever I go.
