1991 Residential Program Graduate Update
“I am extremely grateful to my heavenly father for bestowing on me the many blessings and opportunities that has been given to me over the years. I serve with my husband Lorenzo in ministry, who is the senior pastor at Obed Edom ministries in Alabama. Our assignment is to advance the Kingdom of God. We partner with other ministries, schools, and nursing homes to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. About three and a half years ago, I was able to become reconnected with my older son, Micah who was placed for adoption through the program at Mercy. We also welcomed a new addition to our family this year, my granddaughter. My other children are attending college and following their personal careers.
In December of 2021, I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with my second degree in business. When we make mistakes, it does not mean you cannot overcome from those mistakes: It just means that God being the master builder knows how to make a beautiful masterpiece from our mess and for me that is what my heavenly father has done in my life.”
