Last week on Mercy Talk, we took some time to intentionally pause and pray – pray for healing, pray for compassion, pray for understanding, and pray for God-breathed reconciliation in our country. This week, we are also taking some time to intentionally pause and listen – listen to both one another and to God.

Seeds of Greatness Bible Church in New Castle DE, gathered together for a conversation around the topic of racial injustice. Today, we will hear stories about what it’s like growing up as a bi-racial kid in America, being racially profiled as an African American and the effects of white privilege on others. While this topic can be uncomfortable, we encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to give you an open heart and the courage to not shy away from these critical conversations.

Also, we’d love to encourage you to follow Mercy on social media as we will be pointing you towards some organizations and people whom we know and believe have resources that will be helpful and thought-provoking in this conversation. You can find us on Instagram and Facebook and Twitter at MERCY MULTIPLIED. We love you, and we are so grateful to be on this journey with you.
